Something I have to reaffirm into Minibean’s life every, single day.
The weekend has a nice tinge of peace to it, and besides catching up the rest, and getting some reading done, I finally managed to get my ass off to the church today.
It was just walk-in to a church I never have been to before, and surprisingly, there wasn’t any queue, probably because we were 5 minutes late, and the crowd was already allowed it way before that.
Then again, the service hadn’t started, and we went into the rather packed auditorium, only to be greeted by a rather friendly usher who asked us to head to the rightest most of the auditorium, at the front and told us there were seats there.
So we assumed there were seats. We looked at the signs and moved on when we saw the reserved/handicapped signs.
No seats. So we were just contemplating where to head next.
Suddenly one rude, impatient bugger, who happens to be an usher too, as we stood there, waved us away to tell us to move away cos the seats all taken.
Yes, thank you, I have eyes to see, and we have no intention of taking up the seats, cos we were just momentarily lost.
We moved away, and then a very sweet female usher then asked if we needed seats, and got us seat right at the front, in the middle, 2nd row. Before the podium.
Okay….. stall seats? Pretty brilliant location.
And it was pretty sweet, like how apt the topic was about, “Charis”.
There were many revelations, in a way, an each piece of knowing fell into place, and finding a bit of His humour here and there, wondering if it was just coincidence, or that Someone up there must be really looking.
Walked away feeling pretty good, and the importance of reminding how loved she is, all the time.
In a way, isn’t that what everyone wants to feel, wants to know?
Hurt people, hurt people. And that’s why, loved people, love people.

Had a heavy lunner (lunch, dinner) at Aston’s before spending the evening playing Playdoh and bowling with Minibean.
She was serving me pizza and drumsticks, though the mess of the dough of all colours didn’t really make them look that attractive.
She snatched a couple of pieces of bitter, dark chocolate from me, and it was as if she enjoyed it as much as I do!
I had decaffed coffee intrepidly, and I didn’t have any palpitations! Yay.

I finally watching 1st series of Perfect Cut, and with a superb cast and storyline, really one of the more quality series of local television. And the brilliant choice of sub-theme song… wow.

My new addiction to Fishville is NO GOOD.
I wanna kill whoever the person who told me he was going home to feed his fishes, which piqued my interest to try to see what was the draw.
So Minibean saw Mummy telling her how to rear the fishes and talk about aquarium.
Those who know I have a phobia of dead fishes, literally I might add, will be pleased to know that I feel equally traumatised when my fishes died on me.
Apparently the pole dancing classes had gotten to her and she kept wanting to show off her moves!
She had spa done yesterday! Talking about leading a luxurious, spoilt life.

Friday was concluded with me being put off by the rushing peak hour crowd at the train station and decided to take a long, relaxing walk down the bay.
I. NEED. TO. BRUSH. UP. MY. MANDARIN. AGAIN.
Supper was at Balestier again with the rest of the guys, and couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Rome is to Eve, and she couldn’t stop laughing listening to me replying her in English when she spoke Mandarin and when she spoke Mandarin, I replied in English.
It was a nice, leisurely end to Friday, after a hectic day of wrapping the last quarter up before everyone goes on holiday.

It was nice, rainy Thursday, where me and my disti went around Singapore for meetings, and that she is actually an avid dancer too, who took up salsa and all. She also went diving before she got pregnant, and looking at her petite size, I would never believe she is a mum of two.
It was the first time we went on meetings together and I was surprised how thoroughly I enjoyed her company before we bade each other farewell in the cool, chilly weather, and I headed home to clear the plenty emails.
It was a good week, and I bet the next will be an even better one.
Time for me to load the fabulous celebration to Minibean’s third birthday, just let me chilllllllllllllllllllll for a little while more before the new week begins
Hope that you guys’ week has been as fulfilling as mine, and that the next will be an even more fabulous one.
Love,
A very loved Minibean & Mummy
